Earthquake machine

❤❤πŸ‘± Nikola Teslas “Earthquake Machine” What was it and how do we know about it?

In 1896 Tesla was working on oscillations to be used for energy transfer.

The idea was to create a steam-powered oscillator, able to create various frequencies. If the frequency matched the resonance frequency, a receiving device should transform the mechanical oscillations back into an electric current.

In 1897 the device was ready and in 1898 he supposedly managed to oscillate his laboratory at 48 E. Houston St., New York, enough, that alarmed neighbors called the police and ambulance, fearing an earthquake happening.

Tesla later explained this principle to reporter Allan L. Besnson, who published in February 1912 an article about Tesla’s resonator in The World Today magazine:

“He put his little vibrator in his coat-pocket and went out to hunt a half-erected steel building. Down in the Wall Street district, he found one, ten stories of steel framework without a brick or a stone laid around it. He clamped the vibrator to one of the beams, and fussed with the adjustment until he got it.

Tesla said finally the structure began to creak and weave and the steel-workers came to the ground panic-stricken, believing that there had been an earthquake. Police was called out. Tesla put the vibrator in his pocket and went away. Ten minutes more and he could have laid the building in the street. And, with the same vibrator, he could have dropped the Brooklyn Bridge into the East River in less than an hour.”

What an old man told his grandson

A young man asked his grandfather,

"Grandpa, how did you live in the past without technology . . .

without computers

without drones

without bitcoins

without Internet connection

without TVs

without air conditioners

without cars

without mobile phones?"

Grandpa answered:

"Just as your generation lives today . . .

no prayers,

no compassion,

no respect,

no GMRC,

no real education,

poor personality,

there is no human kindness,

there is no shame,

there is no modesty,

there is no honesty.

We, the people born between the years 1930-1980, were the blessed ones. Our lives are a living proof."

¶ While playing and riding a bike, we have never worn a helmet.

¶ after school we did our homework ourselves and we always played in meadows until sunset

¶ We played with real friends, not virtual friends.

¶ If we were thirsty, we would drink frim the fountain, from the waterfalls, faucet water, not mineral water.

¶ We never worried and get sick even as we shared the same cup or plate with our friends.

¶ We never gained weight by eating bread and pasta every day.

¶ Nothing happened to our feet despite walking barefoot.

¶ We never used food supplements to stay healthy.

¶ We used to make our own toys and play with them.

¶ Our parents were not rich. They gave us love, not material gifts.

¶ We never had a cell phone, DVD, PSP, game console, Xbox, video games, PC, laptop, internet chat . . . but we had true friends.

¶ We visited our friends without being invited and shared and enjoyed the food with their family.

Parents lived nearby to take advantage of family time.

¶ We may have had black and white photos, but you can find colorful memories in these photos.

¶ We are a unique and the most understanding generation, because we are the last generation that listened to their parents.

And we are also the first ones who were forced to listen to their children.~

Imagine Life

 150 Years From Now

150 years from now, none of us reading this post today will be alive. 70 percent to 100 percent of everything we are fighting over right now will be totally forgotten. Underline the word, TOTALLY.

If we go back memory lane to 150 years before us, that will be 1872, none of those that carried the world on their heads then are alive today. Almost all of us reading this will find it difficult to picture anybody's face of that era.

Pause for a while and imagine how some of them betrayed their relatives and sold them as slaves for a piece of mirror. Some k*lled family members just for a piece of land or tubers of yam or cowries or for a pinch of salt. Where is the yam, cowries, mirror, or salt that they were using to brag? It may sound funny to us now, but that is how s*lly we humans are sometimes, especially when it comes to money, power or trying to be relevant.

I remember those days in my secondary school, how some people fought and did so many unimaginable things just to have their names shortlisted among those to be made school Prefects. Ordinary school Prefects o! But today nobody in that school right now remembers that I even schooled there despite my popularity then. Now, imagine what happens after 150 years!

Even when you claim the internet age will preserve your memory, take Michael Jackson as an example. Michael Jackson died in 2009, just 13 years ago. Imagine the influence Michael Jackson had all over the world when he was alive. How many young people of today remember him with awe, that is if they even know him? In 150 years to come, his name, when mentioned, will not ring any bell to a lot of people.

Let us take life easy, nobody will get out of this world alive. . . The land you are fighting and ready to kill for, somebody left that land, the person is dead, rotten, and forgotten. That will also be your fate. In 150 years to come, none of the vehicles or phones we are using today to brag will be relevant. Biko, take life easy!

Let love lead. Let’s be genuinely happy for each other. No malice, no backbiting. No jealousy. No comparison. Life is not a competition. At the end of the day, we will all transit to the other side. It is just a question of who gets there first, but surely we will all go there someday.

Army woman

I felt so empty when you left, I was jealous seeing you on army uniform, I said to myself, a lady on army uniform?  then what are men like me still doing at home?
But i immediately notice that it was your calling,so everyone must answer his or her call of duty
The little time we had together was the best time of my life, honestly I mean it, I kept spying on you till you left.

On common wears, I saw virtuousness, deligence and kindness
but on army uniform I saw gallantness, I'm proud of you,be truthful and strong, if wishes were horses, one day' you will be an Air Marshal,Air vice Marshal or an Air cormodore on like my best friend, brother' father and my mentor, (Air cormodore: Bernard Nimfa Banfa (Late)
Exactly where I met u.
